This is a slightly color tweaked version of my Christmas Card artwork from 2012. A few people told me that Santa's face scared their kids. This was also the second time I drew it. I wonder if they know about the Krampus?
I like the richer, bolder colors this time around. As strange as it sounds, I'm reminded of the colors used in movies from the 1950s like The Ten Commandments or any number of Alfred Hitchcock films from that time. Something about the blue, red, and brown combination.
