I have a new son! We had our baby boy over the summer (July 24th) and this was his birth announcement. He's a great baby! The SE on the hat stands for "Stork Express". I cannot tell you how many people asked me that after they got this in the mail. I wanted to show a rarely illustrated version of the stork who delivers all the supplies and toys needed with baby. Once again, this is drawn in ink witha brush, then colored in Photoshop. I used a lot of scanned textures I used in projects at my graphic design job. they are mostly scanned from old books. We have a ton of ancient ones with dusty or ratty covers in our library, so there is a lot to choose from.
That looks awesome, man! Love it. The toy idea is briliant.
ReplyDeleteI love this. I only wish the stork came with all the baby stuff you need, like awesome and appropriate toys (and fish). The showers only seem to give you things moms find cute. sigh.
