Pirate Santa

Here is my pirate version of everyone's favorite "jolly old elf". Complete with peg leg, and sack full of goodies.

Arctic Explorer Santa

One of my new series "Faces of Santa". I wanted to show him as a rough old arctic explorer. I'm hoping to draw more of these, and possibly add new ones each Christmas season.

My NEW Baby Boy

I have a new son! We had our baby boy over the summer (July 24th) and this was his birth announcement. He's a great baby! The SE on the hat stands for "Stork Express". I cannot tell you how many people asked me that after they got this in the mail. I wanted to show a rarely illustrated version of the stork who delivers all the supplies and toys needed with baby. Once again, this is drawn in ink witha brush, then colored in Photoshop. I used a lot of scanned textures I used in projects at my graphic design job. they are mostly scanned from old books. We have a ton of ancient ones with dusty or ratty covers in our library, so there is a lot to choose from.

Easter in August!

A VERY late Happy Easter! This is a pen & ink/digital illustration I did for fun this Spring. I forgot to post it. I've not been drawing as of much lately because my second child was born two weeks ago. My two weeks of paternity leave/vacation from my graphic design day job ends on Monday...lord help me.

Potty Training Chart Illustration

This is a drawing I did a few months ago for my daughter's potty training chart. Bugs are so much fun to draw. My daughter is very animated, so I still don't feel this one captured her enough. Potty training is so much fun...sure.

Reed Gunther Pinup

This is a pinup I was honored to draw for the insanely talented Chris & Shane Houghton's "Reed Gunther" comic book series. It is in the most recent issue 4 "A Fish Out of Slaughter"

This is definitley a comic book I have to pimp... You can purchase this comic at www.reedgunther.com. Or view Chris's artwork at chrishoughtonart.blogspot.com

It is a fun, hilarious, black and white adventure series set in the American Old West. Chris can draw like no one else can, and he managed to bang these out while being a full-time student. I don't know how he did it.

Thanks again Chris & Shane for including me in your amazing work!
